Element Financial Corporation (TSX:EFN)(TSX:EFN.PR.A)(TSX:EFN.PR.C) ("Element" or the "Company"), one of North America's leading equipment finance companies, announced today that it has raised additional gross proceeds of $3,160,000 from the issuance of 126,400 6.50% Cumulative 5-Year Rate Reset Preferred Shares, Series C (the "Preferred Shares") at a price of $25.00 per Preferred Share as a result of the exercise by the underwriters of an over-allotment option granted in connection with the previously announced preferred share offering.
The preferred share offering was conducted by a syndicate of underwriters co-led by GMP Securities L.P, National Bank Financial Inc., BMO Capital Markets, CIBC World Markets, RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc. and including Desjardins Securities Inc., Raymond James Ltd. and Manulife Securities Inc.
