Dr. Valentijn de Leeuw is a VP for ARC Advisory Group, focusing on organizational change and effectiveness, business process improvement, value-based performance management, governance, project management, knowledge management, operations management, asset management, innovation and engineering, and manufacturing IT. His technology focus is on manufacturing operations management, performance management, supply chain management, and the role of the knowledge worker in manufacturing. He acts as an independent expert-evaluator of research projects for the European Commission in the Information and Communication domains. Valentijn has a PhD in technical sciences from Delft University of Technology (NL) in cooperation with Ecole Nationale Superieure des Mines de Paris and IFP and also has a Masters in Chemistry from Utrecht State University, The Netherlands.
