Elizabeth Menchaca Appointed Vice President of Academic Services for Evans Newton Incorporated, Producers of TargetTeach®

SCOTTSDALE, AZ--(Marketwire - June 25, 2008) - Evans Newton Incorporated (ENI), a leading provider of school reform solutions since 1973, announced today the appointment of Elizabeth Menchaca to Vice President of Academic Services.

In this new role, Elizabeth will guide ENI's current and prospective partner districts in architecting effective and quality ENI solutions. Each solution will be designed to ensure ENI's partner districts meet their goals related to improving student achievement, teacher effectiveness and leadership capacity. Elizabeth will support ENI's regional representatives to meet their goals and implement high achieving projects. In addition, Elizabeth will also work closely with the Executive Staff in developing strategies, goals, and plans to ensure ENI's continued success in all aspects of the business.

Ms. Menchaca joined ENI in 1986. She is a former classroom teacher with a background in special needs students. She is also the former State Director for a private accredited alternative education program. Her classroom teaching experience was in educational system based on diagnostic prescriptive learning with an emphasis in Open Education and Mastery Based Learning. Her experience includes the design and development of instructional software programs for schools. She has created instructional materials, acted as a publisher for children's educational books, and designed instructional databases.
