The 4.6 version of the robust online workforce modeling, scheduling and staffing system includes the addition of product features and enhancements to address employee shift swapping, posting/filling of open shifts by employees and daily staffing management.

The ability for employees to swap shifts through the Employee Portal, pending the approval of their supervisor, increases employee satisfaction levels, and reduces both supervisor time coordinating swaps and employee no-shows. Posting unfilled shifts to employees so they can volunteer for additional hours provides an equitable solution to distribute overtime and reduces agency costs. The addition of Manager extends the strategic value of GENERATOR into the tactical management of daily staffing. So, the supervisor can add, edit, and remove shifts and personnel, configuring the schedule to manage the here and now.
