Eloqua Appoints Jon Hamovitch Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Seasoned Veteran Experience Working With Well-Known Brands to Company

VIENNA, VA--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) - Eloqua, the leader in marketing automation solutions that dramatically accelerate revenue performance, today announced the hiring of Jon Hamovitch as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Hamovitch brings more than 30 years of management experience at some of the most respected brands, including AOL and Wal-Mart.

Mr. Hamovitch will oversee Eloqua's human resources operations at a time when the company has experienced significant growth. He will report directly to Eloqua CEO Joe Payne.

Mr. Hamovitch joins Eloqua from AOL, where he most recently oversaw the Human Resources department for Canada, Europe, China, India, Israel and emerging markets as Vice President of International Human Resources. Prior to joining AOL, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for Derivion, a start-up internet billing company and PC Docs, a publicly traded document management software company. Before coming to those organizations, Mr. Hamovitch was Vice President of Human Resources for Wal-Mart Canada. He also held senior positions at Dylex, Mercer Consulting and Imperial Oil/Esso.

Jon currently serves as the chair of the Provincial Partnership Council (PPC), a volunteer advisory committee of the Government of Ontario comprised of leaders from the private, public and voluntary sectors that is primarily focused on advancing Passport to Prosperity, a province-wide awareness initiative to encourage employer participation in school-work programs that impart workplace skills and experience to high school students. He has previously sat on a number of boards and advisory committees, including the Human Resources Professionals Association, the Baycrest Center for Geriatric Care and York University. A graduate of McGill University, he will work out of Eloqua's founding office in Toronto.
