Ember Resources Inc. Announces Additions to Board of Directors and Management Team

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - July 19, 2005) -

Ember Resources Inc. (TSX:EBR) is please to announce the addition of three new independent directors and three new members to its management team.

Joining Mr. Douglas Dafoe, Mr. Terry Meek, Mr. Jack Peltier, Mr. Colin Boyer and Mr. Richard Todd on the board of Ember will be:

Mr. Fox Benton III, MBA., Mr. Benton has over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the United States as well as international arenas; most recently he was Chief Financial Officer of Ultra Petroleum, a publicly traded (AMEX:UPL), rapidly growing, independent exploration and production company focused on resource development in the United States and China.

Mr. Thomas Drolet, M.Sc., Mr. Drolet has 36 years of experience in the electrical, nuclear and gas utility industries, both in North America and internationally. Currently Mr. Drolet is Vice-President, International Business with DTE Energy Technologies Inc., a high-technology company specializing in providing distributed generation products and services to solve the energy-related needs of residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Mr. Dennis Balderston, CA, Mr. Balderston has 38 years of public accounting experience specializing in public and private energy sector companies; most recently he was a Partner at Ernst and Young Associates.

In connection with these new board appointments Mr. James Pasieka has resigned from the Board of Ember effective July 15, 2005. Ember would like to thank Mr. Pasieka for his significant contribution in the formation of Ember and its predecessor companies.

Ember is also pleased to announce the addition of three members to its technical team:

Mr. Art McMullan, P. Eng., will join Ember as Manager, Reservoir Engineering. In addition to 24 years in the oil and gas industry, Mr. McMullan has extensive CBM experience in both the Powder River basin in Wyoming and the Mannville coals in Alberta.

Mr. Jim Kelly, will join Ember as Manager, Operations. Mr. Kelly has 30 years experience in oil and gas operations in western Canada and internationally, including drilling and completions operations for both the Horseshoe Canyon and Mannville coals in Alberta.

Mr. Dale Shipman, P. Eng., will join Ember as Manager, Production. Mr. Shipman has 18 years experience in oil and gas production, exploitation, and facilities; most recently he has been working as an engineer for a major producer in their Unconventional Gas Resource group.
