Embrionix Design Inc. Receives Financial Support From Government of Canada

LAVAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 6, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs, today announced that the firm Embrionix Design Inc. has been granted financial assistance to acquire technological equipment.

"The Government of Canada is keeping to its commitment of focusing on the economy. This is evident in our constant support of projects aimed at improving the productivity and competitiveness of enterprises like Embrionix Design," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2008, Embrionix Design Inc. creates products for manufacturers of professional video, telecommunications and television broadcast equipment. The Laval company has developed an innovative solution that allows customers in these sectors to select the best connector technology for their needs. Since bringing this product to market, it has seen its sales soar by more than 23,000%.

Embrionix Design Inc. will use this funding from Canada Economic Development to purchase test modules, an ERP system and equipment for testing its coaxial, optical and conversion connectors, thereby enabling the enterprise to reduce its manufacturing time from 12 to four weeks.

"Our government remains focused on four priorities, as outlined by the Prime Minister, that Canadians care most about: their families, the safety of our streets and communities, their pride in being a citizen of this country, and of course, their personal financial security," Minister Lebel concluded.

Information:

This assistance, granted in the form of a $210,000 repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
