Emery-Waterhouse Creates New Customer Satisfaction Position

PORTLAND, ME--(Marketwire - May 2, 2012) - Emery-Waterhouse, a leading distributor of hardlines and building materials, today announced Lori Grenier has been promoted to the position of Director of Customer Satisfaction.

In her new role, she will continue her duties with the Emery-Waterhouse customer service and inside sales team and will be responsible for overseeing customer improvements across all departments of the organization. Grenier previously served as Director of Customer Relations and Merchandising.

Emery-Waterhouse created the new position to further support the recent rebranding and reinforcement of company goals. Emery-Waterhouse's new tagline and positioning statement, both designed to underscore the company's customer-centric growth strategy and capabilities, were announced at the Marketplace 2012 customer tradeshow. The new tagline, "Driven by your success," reflects the Emery-Waterhouse commitment to delivering results designed to help its customers grow.

In addition to appointing Grenier the director of customer satisfaction, Emery-Waterhouse will develop tools for securing customer feedback across multiple channels and work to improve communication and information available to its customers.

Grenier joined Emery-Waterhouse in 1995 as customer relations manager. She has also held positions at William Arthur, J. Crew, Inc., The Timberland Company, and Gap Inc. Grenier holds a BA in business administration from Hillsdale College and certificates in problem solving and decision making from Kepner-Tregoe, Inc., and in marketing strategy from the University of North Carolina. She is an Integrity Selling and Coaching accredited facilitator and has completed a leadership development program at the Center for Leadership Development.
