Emmy Nominated Web Series, FilmFellas, Releases Final Episode

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 31, 2011) - After 8 casts and 39 episodes, Zacuto's Emmy nominated webseries, FilmFellas, has come to an end. The series featured filmmakers from all walks of life sharing a meal talking about different aspects of the film and video production industry. Some notable guests include 24 DP, Rodney Charters ASC, CSC, Academy Award nominee, Stephen Goldblatt ASC, BSC and Kodak Vision Award winner, Nancy Schreiber, ASC.

"Over the past 39 episodes of FilmFellas, it was great to see a community spring up around the ideas that were presented and discussed in the show. Having the chance to meet and talk with so many different people from across the filmmaking world really opened my eyes and continues to inspire me. Although I'll miss the show, I'm really looking forward to all of our new programming which will be even more entertaining and educational. We have a bunch of surprises lined up for this year and I think people are going to really like the new shows," said series Producer, Scott Lynch.

The final episode of FilmFellas departs from the traditional eclectic cast of filmmakers discussing their insights and careers. Instead, the "After Dinner Special" features Director, Steve Weiss, DP, Jens Bogehegn, Producer, Scott Lynch and Editor, Daniel Skubal chatting about topics like how the show was developed, how the show is made and how the show has evolved. They also reflect on some of their favorite memories of the series as well as some of the great friendships and contacts the series has generated for them.

While Zacuto may not be producing any new FilmFellas episodes, they definitely haven't given up producing original programming for the internet. Zacuto will be producing a ton of new content for the web in the next year. Their Emmy Award winning series, The Great Camera Shootout 2010, is returning in April with new episodes and the brand new series, BTS, is scheduled to hit internet browsers in early spring.
