Empire Industries Appoints Peter White-Robinson Executive Vice President of Attractions

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Oct. 16, 2014) - Empire Industries Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EIL) today announced that Peter White-Robinson has been appointed Executive Vice President of Attractions, effective immediately. Mr. White-Robinson was elected as a director of the Company at the Annual Shareholders Meeting held in September, 2014.

Mr. White-Robinson is a mechanical engineer with more than three decades of experience in building, owning and operating the largest engineering and fabrication business in New Zealand. Mr. White-Robinson will be responsible for Empire's Media-based Attractions business segment, including Dynamic Structures and its fabrication and manufacturing operations in Vancouver, its proprietary media based attractions business unit called Dynamic Attractions, and its Chinese fabrication Joint Venture.

Mr. White-Robinson has been issued 2.5 million stock options, exercisable at $0.10 per share, vesting immediately, expiring in 5 years, pursuant to the stock option plan approved by the shareholders at the last Annual General Meeting.
