KINGSTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 25, 2015) - The Empire Life Insurance Company (Empire Life) ("the Company") announced today that it has filed a preliminary long form non-offering prospectus and other related filings with the securities regulatory authority in the province of Ontario. The purpose of filing the non-offering prospectus is to qualify the Company to raise regulatory capital in the form of preferred shares and subordinated debt, as well as other debt securities.
