Since the launch of EmpowHER.com in November 2008, the site's traffic has grown more than 5 times against a field of peer sites that have been online 3 to 5 times longer. In 2009, EmpowHER.com saw 3 million unique visitors for the year. Last year, that number grew to 16 million, and this year is expected to surpass 33 million. The site categorizes nearly 700 women's health conditions and wellness topics, and the company has created nearly 80,000 pieces of original video, article and user-generated content -- representing both the largest taxonomy of women's health conditions, and one of the largest libraries of women's health content on the Web.
