EMTI'S AWE Technology to Be Installed in Residential Units by Spring 2006

TUCSON, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 31, 2005 -- Environmental Technologies International, Inc. (OTC: EMTI) (OTC -- quoted on most financial home pages under the stock symbol "EMTI" or "EMTI.PK") is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, AWE Engineering, Inc., (Air, Water, Energy) anticipates completing the fast-tracking of its residential AWE unit, and installing such units for testing by next spring. As previously announced, the Company launched its program to address the suddenly critical need for pure, safe drinking water, and for mold control & remediation, in the wake of what has become perhaps the worst hurricane season on record in the U.S. southeast.

Focusing On The Sudden, Critical Need

In the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Wilma, and numerous other devastating storms in recent months, the requirement for safe residential drinking water and mold remediation has suddenly become critical. Hundreds of thousands of residents were evacuated during the monster storms, and untold thousands of residential housing units suffered varying degrees of damage, from total demolition to simply being inundated with water and thus suffering the damage that water can do. Unsightly building mold that can be a serious health hazard thrives only because of dampness within the structure, and there is little doubt that a huge number of houses in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and neighboring states now suffer from an extraordinarily high level of dampness. As well, the need for safe, potable water has never been so critical, given that entire water systems have in some cases been contaminated. The clean up and rebuilding of New Orleans and many other devastated communities will continue through next year and beyond, and the hazards of mold and contaminated water in the region can be expected to persist in the foreseeable future. AWE is expending every effort to have its proposed residential unit ready to address this critical need through installations in residential units as early as possible in 2006.

The AWE Technology

The AWE technology represents a quantum leap over conventional building HVAC and energy-management systems, offering the potential to dramatically improve the workplace/living environment while capturing significant savings for commercial building owners/operators. The technology offers improvements to Indoor Air Quality, minimization of Building Mold, Electricity Savings, and production of High-Purified Water. Protected by patents, the technology includes a modification of the ingenious Thermosyphon Heat Transfer Loop developed by NASA and to this day used by NASA to transfer the extreme heat and cold from one part of the space shuttle to another -- virtually instantaneously! Since the NASA patents expired, AWE (Air, Water, Energy) Engineering Inc. has adapted and modified the technology for commercial & residential use in a wide variety of buildings.

A Potential Multibillion-Dollar Market

The intended use of AWE's proprietary technology in building heating/cooling, energy, and water systems is global in scope, and is estimated to exceed many billions of dollars. In addition, the system also produces pure water for use by building tenants. It is a leading-edge technological advance which, when developed for building-environment control systems, is expected to find broad acceptance owing to the fact that the savings in building maintenance/operations garnered by the system will in fact pay for itself many times over. With electrical energy costs rising relentlessly, the savings assured by the forthcoming AWE system are expected to prove an irresistible proposition to commercial building operators.
