En Pointe Adds Microsoft Lync to Center of Excellence

En Pointe Technologies Announces It Has Been Developing Resources to Support Microsoft Lync Deployments

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 24, 2011) - En Pointe Technologies, a national IT solutions provider of Information Technology products and services, announced it is offering design, consulting, and deployment services for Microsoft Lync. These services are part of the Microsoft Center of Excellence that En Pointe had established earlier in the year.

As part of En Pointe's on-going efforts to be a leader and innovator in the IT Solutions provider space, the Microsoft Lync deployment team at En Pointe has been part of the Microsoft Technology Adoption Program (TAP) enabling hands-on training of Lync deployment capabilities pre-release to the public. The En Pointe team is committed to ensuring knowledge of the product by sending additional engineering staff to Microsoft-led training. In addition to having several MCITP (Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional) certified Microsoft Engineers, the En Pointe team has participated in the Microsoft MCITP beta release testing of Microsoft Lync Server 2010.

En Pointe has been involved with over a dozen Lync planning engagements and 3 new/upgrade deployments from OCS 2007 R2 with Enterprise Voice. En Pointe also deployed Microsoft Lync Server 2010 internally last year to enable presence, IM (instant messaging), conferencing, collaboration, and voice.
