ENABIL Solutions Selected by Dhiraagu for Next Generation Convergent Charging and Customer Care Platform

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - July 30, 2015) - Following a competitive process, ENABIL Solutions today announced that it was selected as a technology partner by Dhiraagu, a telecommunications company and subsidiary of Batelco, located in the Maldives. ENABIL will implement and manage the operator's next-generation convergent charging, customer and billing care, and service control plane which will be delivered through a private cloud model. The platform is based on Oracle's business support system (BSS) technology and will include convergent charging, customer and billing care, and service control plane.

Dhiraagu required a robust convergent charging platform and a mature, qualified partner who understood and could meet their functional and service level requirements based on their unique geographical location. This drove their selection of the private cloud model offered by ENABIL reinforced with their experience with the Oracle Communications solution and extensive experience in implementations and managed services. The solution will:

  • Provide convergence across all lines of business including mobile, fixed line/broadband and IPTV
  • Offer the flexibility to manage changing market requirements and support the rapid release of new services
  • Enable a measurable reduction in IT operations and maintenance costs

The solution utilizes the core Oracle Communications BSS technology, including Oracle Communications Converged Charging and Policy Solution, Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management featuring Elastic Charging Engine, and Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control. The Oracle solution will be enhanced by ENABIL's Customer Experience Manager (CEM), a web-based, fully extendible product which offers a level of control and information accessibility that can provide a rich experience for the end user.
