Enablence Grants Options

OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2010) - Enablence Technologies Inc. ("Enablence" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ENA), a leading supplier of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) equipment for triple-play residential and business services and optical components and subsystems for access, metro and long-haul markets announced today that it has granted options to several staff members.

The Board of Directors has granted options to non-employee directors, officers and employees to acquire a total of 13,215,000 shares of the Company. These were granted to certain non-employee directors (200,000), certain officers (400,000) and employees (12,615,000). The options were granted in accordance with the Corporation's Amended and Restated Stock Option Plan, except in respect to the options granted to the non-employee directors, which vest over a two year period, at 50% on each of the first and second anniversaries of the date of grant. The options have an exercise price of $0.60 per share [being the closing price on the TSX Venture Exchange on September 10, 2010] and the options are exercisable on or before September 10, 2020. After these grants, 7,000,329 common shares remain available for issuance under the Corporation's Amended and Restated Stock Option Plan.
