Enablence Technologies Hires Vice President, Finance and Administration

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 8, 2006) - (TSX VENTURE:ENA) Enablence Technologies Inc. ("Enablence" or the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the appointment of John Daniel Hilton as its Vice President, Finance and Administration, effective immediately.

Mr. John Daniel Hilton is a Chartered Accountant and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Honours) from the University of Ottawa. He began his professional career working with Deloitte & Touche LLP, before joining World Heart Corporation (TSX: WHT ,NASDAQ: WHRT) in 1996. In 2001 he joined the Ottawa Heart Institute as the Director of Finance and Administration. More recently, Mr. Hilton co-founded KidsFutures Inc. (TSXV:FUT), a national loyalty program, which became listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in December of 2005.

"Dan's experience working for publicly traded companies will be of significant value to Enablence going forward" said Arvind Chhatbar, Enablence's Chairman and CEO. Enablence recently completed a reverse takeover and commenced trading under its new name on the TSX-Venture Exchange. "With the addition of Dan, the Corporation's senior management team is complete and we are looking forward to building the business" said Mr. Chhatbar.
