enChoice Launches Affordable, Turnkey Enterprise Content Management Solution for Midsized Insurance Companies

TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwire - March 16, 2011) - enChoice®, Inc. today announced the launch of Enterprise Links, an entry-level, turnkey enterprise content management (ECM) solution designed specifically for the midsized insurance industry. Enterprise Links is a plug-and-play software appliance that leverages the IBM® FileNet® P8 ECM platform and enChoice's KwikWork® Business Process Framework (BPF) solution to enable insurance companies to easily access information and move it effectively across the enterprise.

Enterprise Links leverages the best practices of larger insurance companies without the complexity of a totally customized solution, empowering smaller companies to handle more volume with existing resources while eliminating unnecessary cycles and risk. It is tailored to meet the needs of insurance companies with 1,000 or fewer employees in terms of budget, feature set, and implementation window, and can be easily scaled to accommodate future growth. With Enterprise Links, insurance companies can:

  • Eliminate duplicate data entry;
  • Access all forms of information from various departments within an existing processing system;
  • Perform automated processing internally and externally (e.g. email);
  • Automate the collection, lookup and association of policy information;
  • Automate the request, receipt and bundling of information from remote locations;
  • Capture and share review notes with multiple security levels; and
  • Optionally apply records management retention policies.

Enterprise Links can be easily configured to meet specific needs using templates, which are available for numerous applications including underwriting, health insurance claims, property and casualty claims, accounts payable, and human resources. These templates enable enChoice to deliver a complete ECM solution within just days. Because the solution is Web-based, it can be up and running in as little as two weeks.

"Midsized insurance companies can grow their businesses significantly faster by automating paper-driven processes and making critical information easily accessible from one central system. Unfortunately, the solutions available for accomplishing these tasks are typically too complex, resource-intensive, and costly for companies their size," said Wally Bitaut, executive vice president of the ECM Solutions Group at enChoice. "Enterprise Links addresses this issue by empowering an insurance company of any size to deploy an affordable ECM solution that can be managed with minimal resources, and grow as the organization grows."
