Enclarity Expands Sales Team to Meet Increased Demand for Better Healthcare Provider Information

Company Names Scott Marber as Senior Vice President of Sales; Mark Biddle Joins as Sales Director

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - September 9, 2009) - Responding to a growing need for its healthcare provider information solutions, Enclarity, Inc. announced today the appointments of Scott Marber as senior vice president of sales and Mark Biddle as sales director for the northeastern U.S.

"We are very pleased to have Scott and Mark join our team," said Sean Downs, chief executive officer, Enclarity. "Enclarity is poised for significant growth given the market's increasing need to improve the quality of healthcare provider data, and we're fortunate to have seasoned professionals leading the charge."

Marber will direct Enclarity's sales and marketing efforts. He brings an impressive 25 years of success in sales executive leadership roles at a number of companies that sell to the healthcare market. Marber has generated more than $250 million in new revenue at the companies where he worked by introducing discipline and focus to the sales process.

Most recently, Marber was senior vice president of sales for Virgin HealthMiles, a wellness company founded by Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group, selling to major health plans and employers. Previously, Marber was senior vice president of sales and business development at Free & Clear, which markets wellness services to employers, health plans and government agencies. Marber has led the growth of several health services organizations, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

Biddle joins Enclarity from Perot Systems, where he was a northeast region sales executive, selling revenue cycle management solutions to hospitals. He previously held senior sales positions at several companies selling to the hospital, payer and pharmaceutical markets, including ChartOne, PHT Corp and HPR Inc.

The problem of poor quality data about doctors, doctors' offices, hospitals and other facilities costs healthcare payers, medical device as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers more than $26 billion each year. As the most trusted source of healthcare provider information, Enclarity is well positioned to contribute to solving the information issues being raised in the national debate over healthcare reform.
