Encore's Hemanth Salem to Present on Electronic Discovery Strategies and Best Practices at ABA TIPS Programs in Korea and Japan

"Understanding, Surviving and Prevailing in the United States Litigation Environment" Scheduled for November 15 in Seoul and November 18 in Tokyo

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - November 11, 2010) - Encore Discovery Solutions, a knowledge-based provider of electronic discovery and related services, has announced that its vice president of professional services, Hemanth Salem, will present at the "Understanding, Surviving and Prevailing in the United States Litigation Environment" conferences in Seoul and Tokyo. The Seoul program takes place on November 15, 2010 at the Chung-Ang University School of Law and the Tokyo program is on November 18, 2010 at the Nihon University College of Law. Both programs are presented by the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section's (TIPS) International Law Committee and the American Board of Trial Advocates.

Mr. Salem will present on "e-Discovery Strategies for Proceedings Before the International Trade Commission," and cover best practices to scope, plan and respond to complex electronic discovery investigations before the ITC, which is at the forefront of major international litigation. "Japanese and Korean companies who develop technologies and manufacture and sell products and services in the United States frequently find themselves facing the ITC and need a better understanding of American discovery rules and principles," said Salem. "I look forward to a meaningful discussion on how to manage through these challenges with minimal risk and cost."

The conferences are designed to help Japanese and Korean companies to better understand the U.S. litigation landscape. In addition to Mr. Salem's presentation on electronic discovery, topics to be covered include civil procedure and discovery, defending product liability litigation, product recalls, intellectual property and compliance with labor laws.
