Government of Canada supports the Children's Delight Series of Dryden


DRYDEN, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 21, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada has provided $7,000 in funding through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund for the Children's Delight Series of Dryden. The series, aimed at children aged 3 to 11, presents performances that incorporate a variety of disciplines, including music, theatre, dance and circus arts.

The Honourable Greg Rickford, Minister of Natural Resources, Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario and Member of Parliament (Kenora), made the announcement today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

  • The Children's Delight Series of Dryden has been presenting their multidisciplinary series in the Dryden area for over 25 years.
  • The events will take place at the New Prospect Public School, with larger productions happening at the Dryden Performing Arts Centre.
