Eneo Tecnologia's Marte Firewall Selects Sensory Networks' Nodalcore® Acceleration Technology

Sensory's NodalCore Advanced Content Security Acceleration Solution Is Combined With Industry Leading Marte Firewall to Deliver Comprehensive High-Speed Protection

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 12, 2006 -- CSI NETSEC -- Sensory Networks, the leader in acceleration technology for network security applications, today announced that its NodalCore security acceleration technology has been selected for the Marte firewall product from Eneo Tecnologia.

Eneo's Marte product offering includes Unified Threat Management (UTM), network monitoring and WAN optimization and alert monitoring, consolidation and correlation. Eneo's Marte Firewall incorporates IPS/IDS, Antivirus scanning, Antispam filtering, VPN, QoS, and Content filtering. Integrating the NodalCore C-2000 PCI accelerator cards from Sensory Networks has enabled Eneo to scale from the low-end SOHO target market segment through to the high-end carrier-class network gateway appliance market. "Our customers demand a fast, comprehensive and easy-to-use product to secure their networks," said Jaime Nebrera, CEO for Eneo Tecnologia. "Sensory's NodalCore technology was quick and easy to integrate and immediately delivered the performance turbo boost we needed."

The patent-pending NodalCore C-2000 PCI cards accelerated both Antivirus and IDS/IPS applications running on Eneo's Marte firewall line of products. "We are very pleased that Eneo Tecnologia has selected Sensory Networks to power their Marte firewall," said Matt Barrie, CEO for Sensory Networks. "We look forward to providing our partners with an unrivalled suite of security applications and multi-gigabit acceleration solutions."

"Firewalls are rapidly hitting their performance ceilings as Enterprises and Small businesses alike are demanding more security application support," said Jeff Wilson, Principle Analyst, Infonetics Research. "This demand trend will only become more prevalent with the emergence of Unified Threat Management (UTM)."

Interested parties should visit Sensory Networks at the CSI NetSec '06 conference in booth #C18 from June 12-14.
