Enerflex Announces First Quarter 2007 Distributions and Launch of Distribution Reinvestment Plan

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Dec. 19, 2006) - Enerflex Systems Income Fund (TSX:EFX.UN) ("Enerflex") is pleased to announce that a cash distribution of C$0.25 per trust unit will be paid on January 15, 2007 to unitholders of record on December 29,2006. The trust units of Enerflex will begin trading ex-distribution on December 27, 2006.

As previously announced in our third quarter financial results released on November 6, 2006, Enerflex anticipates maintaining the current $0.25 per unit distribution per quarter for the balance of 2007.

Enerflex is also pleased to announce the launch of a Distribution Reinvestment Plan ("The Plan"). The Plan is available for Canadian resident holders of trust units of Enerflex. A copy of the Plan and Enrollment Form are available on Enerflex's website at www.enerflex.com/investor_relations. Information regarding enrolment in the Plan can also be obtained from Computershare Trust Company of Canada at 1-800-564-6253 for registered unitholders. Non-registered holders interested in the Plan should contact their individual investment agent or broker.
