Enerflex and Joint Venture Partner Awarded a $40 Million Gas Processing Facility Project in Egypt

CALGARY--(CCNMatthews - July 13) - Enerflex Systems Ltd. (EFX:TSX), a leading Canadian supplier of products and services to the global oil and gas production industry, today announced that its Presson business unit, together with Presson-Descon International (Private) Limited ("PDIL"), has been awarded a $40 million order to supply a natural gas processing facility in Egypt by a major international oil and gas company. Enerflex holds a 46.5% interest in PDIL. Enerflex's direct participation in the combined order amounts to approximately $25 million.

Mr. J. Blair Goertzen, Enerflex's President and Chief Operating Officer said, "this is the largest order for an Egyptian project in Presson's history and it demonstrates the continuing benefit of our investment in PDIL. This project also represents PDIL's first contract outside of Pakistan." Mr. Goertzen continued that, "the combination of Presson's engineering and modular fabrication capabilities, and PDIL's on-site construction and field service expertise, were key factors in Enerflex being awarded this contract."

Enerflex, through Presson and its various business units, will be responsible for project management and fabrication of the major gas processing equipment, including hydrocarbon dewpoint control equipment, propane refrigeration, turbo expander, gas dehydration, and a liquefied petroleum gas processing train with liquid petroleum gas storage. The equipment will be built in modules in Enerflex's Presson and Compression facilities in Alberta and shipped to Egypt.

Site preparation, construction and support infrastructure, including onsite utilities, and the tie-in of well flow lines, will be coordinated by PDIL. The processing facility will be located in the Delta region of Egypt and when complete will be capable of processing 160 million standard cubic feet per day of raw natural gas. Delivery and commissioning is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2006.
