Energy Exploration International Announces the Drill Rig Is Scheduled for the Harlan #2 (Machala #1) Well

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - May 16, 2008) - Energy Exploration International, Inc. ("EEI") and PetroQuest Exploration Inc. announce the scheduled move-in date for the Harlan #2 Well (Machala #1 project). EEI and PetroQuest have confirmed that drilling is scheduled to commence on or about the week of May 27th, 2008. The location has been cleared and prepared, the reserve pits have been dug and a work-over rig has dug the rat hole and the location hole.
