Energy Plus Income Trust Announces Distribution

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 19, 2009) - Energy Plus Income Trust (TSX:EPF.UN) (the "Fund") reports the distribution to unitholders of record at the close of business on February 28, 2009 and payable March 16, 2009 is $0.0833 Cdn per trust unit.

Throughout the month of January 2008, Energy Plus repurchased 24,400 units under its mandatory repurchase program when the Fund traded at a discount greater than 5%.

As at February 12, 2009, the Fund's net asset value was $4.62 Cdn per trust unit. The current portfolio consists of 64% oil & gas royalty trusts, 14% oil & gas service trusts, and 11% energy corporations, and 11% cash and cash equivalents.
