Energy Savings Group Named as "Company of the Year"

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 6, 2007) - Green energy options, pro-active engagement with legislators and regulators, and a commitment to customer satisfaction were among the factors which led to Mississauga-based Energy Savings Group's selection as 2007 "Company of the Year" by the Ontario Energy Association (OEA).

In announcing the honour at its annual awards dinner in Niagara Falls on September 5, the OEA said Energy Savings Group was selected, in large part, because of its corporate leadership, customer focus and an ongoing commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

Rebecca MacDonald of Energy Savings Group said the company is delighted to see its efforts recognized by the Association, especially since the company is celebrating its 10th anniversary of operations this year.

"From our initial operation here in Ontario we've expanded our business into five provinces and four U.S. states, while staying focused on providing competitive and innovative retail electricity and natural gas supply options and remaining committed to customer service," said Ms. MacDonald.

Ms. MacDonald said the company's Green Energy Option (GEO), which allows its customers to select up to 100 per cent green energy is proving very popular, while a new database and phone system to manage and track customer questions and concerns has helped Energy Savings Group maintain an extremely low contract-to-complaints ratio.
