CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 8, 2011) -

EnerVest Diversified Income Trust ("EnerVest" or the "Fund") (TSX:EIT.UN) today announced units accepted for the voluntary annual redemption will be redeemed for $14.46 per unit in Canadian dollars. This price is equal to 95% of the average net asset value per unit based on the three business days preceding the redemption date of September 6, 2011, less direct costs. Effective September 8, 2011, Canoe Financial has remitted redemption proceeds to its transfer agent, Alliance Trust Company, for deposit into Unitholder accounts.

The Fund's Declaration of Trust limits the number of units redeemed pursuant to the annual redemption to 10% of the issued and outstanding units on the Redemption Date. Based on the number of units outstanding as of September 6, 2011, redemption requests will be pro rated to approximately 35.7% of units tendered, subject to rounding. Any remaining units not accepted for redemption will be returned to redeeming Unitholders on or before September 13, 2011.
