Enghouse Enters into Multi-Year Renewal of its Support Services Contract with IBM Japan

Enghouse Enters into Multi-Year Renewal of its Support
Services Contract with IBM Japan

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 21, 2005) - Enghouse Systems
Limited (TSX:ESL) today announced that its Asset Management Division has
entered into a multi-year extension of its maintenance and support
agreement with IBM Japan. Valued at approximately Cdn$3.4 million per
year, this agreement provides for a minimum two-year extension for the
period April 1, 2005 until March 31, 2007 and shall be automatically
renewed for successive one-year terms unless either party provides
advance notice of termination.

Andrew Nellestyn, President of Enghouse's Asset Management Division,
said, "This agreement emphasizes the significant investment IBM Japan
and NTT have made in Enghouse technology. We are pleased to continue our
support of IBM Japan and NTT recognizing that the GeoNet installation at
NTT is one of the largest GIS implementations in the world."
