The new "No-SDK" approach addresses a massive challenge for mobile marketers, which historically have been unable to leverage mobile analytics and optimization to modify apps quickly.

An SDK is a basic programming package that allows mobile developers to tie third-party technology into their mobile apps. While SDKs have grown in popularity due to their simplicity, they significantly limit marketing agility by requiring marketers to identify up-front exactly what to track within an app. Once an SDK is implemented, if a marketer wants to collect new data or additional events (such as clicks), they need a mobile developer to recompile the app, re-submit it to the app store and then wait for consumers to download the updated app. These steps add weeks to the process, and are unacceptable to sophisticated marketers that must respond rapidly to customers' needs and to changes in the marketplace.

Ensighten Mobile features a unique approach that deliberately sidesteps an SDK. It only requires 15 minutes to implement and removes the constraints associated with an SDK.
