Financing to Accelerate Growth and Research & Development Efforts

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 19, 2013) - Entelo today announced $3.5 million in financing led by Battery Ventures with participation from Menlo Ventures. Entelo is building the next generation of talent acquisition tools focused on helping companies better leverage social data. To address demand for its solutions, Entelo will use the funds to accelerate its growth and research and development efforts, specifically to develop additional products leveraging its impressive data set and predictive analytics engine.

Entelo recently won "Best in Show" at the Under the Radar Conference in the "Back Office Solutions" category. The company's products include Entelo Search and Entelo Sonar, which are currently used by more than 80 corporate clients to power their recruiting efforts. Many of the fastest growing companies in the world -- including Box, Groupon, Square and Yelp -- rely on Entelo products to source and recruit top engineers, designers and other in-demand professionals.

Company founder and CEO, Jon Bischke, commented, "At Entelo, we know there is an opportunity for social data to impact all levels of recruiting. Talent acquisition is top of mind at the board and C-level across all industries and we're honored to be an integral part of our clients' recruiting success."

"Our portfolio hired over 1,000 people last year alone, so the challenge of finding top talent has always been close to heart," said Brian O'Malley, General Partner at Battery Ventures. "Entelo is the only solution we've seen that not only identifies top candidates, but also gives recruiters proprietary insight on who is actively seeking."

Menlo Ventures Managing Director Shawn Carolan said, "Menlo Ventures specializes in seed to growth stage consumer and enterprise technology companies and Entelo is a great example of this, with a strong leadership team innovating in the recruiting category."
