Enterasys Networks Goes Live With Steelwedge Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)

PLEASANTON, CA--(Marketwire - October 20, 2009) - Steelwedge Software, the leader in Cloud-based Sales and Operations Planning solutions (S&OP), announced today that Enterasys Networks has migrated to the Steelwedge Cloud-based Sales and Operations Platform to support its collaborative S&OP process. The migration eliminates the need for Enterasys internal IT support and significantly reduces the total cost of ownership (TCO).

Enterasys Networks designs routers and switches for use in corporate networks. It also provides network management and security software and access points. The company's service offerings include network installation, maintenance, support, and outsourcing. Enterasys Networks selected Steelwedge to reduce inventory, ensure on-time deliveries and increase profitability.

The Steelwedge solution enables Enterasys Networks to drive scenario-based supply-demand analysis and incorporates feedback from its finance, operations and sales organizations as well as from customers, distributors, and contract manufacturers. Enterasys Networks executives and planners use the Steelwedge solution to capture and forecast unit demand, analyze the impact of alternate pricing, measure actual operational performance against plan.
