Enterasys Offers "Peace of Mind" 100% Trade-In Program for ConSentry Customers

Program Allows ConSentry Users to Leverage Existing Investment, Ensure Continuing Quality of Products and Support

ANDOVER, MA--(Marketwire - September 14, 2009) -  Enterasys, the network infrastructure and security division of Siemens Enterprise Communications Group, today announced the availability of its "Peace of Mind" Trade-In Credit Program for customers of ConSentry, a well-respected security vendor that recently closed its doors. The program allows current ConSentry customers a 100 percent trade-in credit towards the purchase of Enterasys products, effective immediately through the end of the 2009 calendar year.

"The 'Peace of Mind' Trade-In Program is an easy way for ConSentry customers to keep everything they like about ConSentry products -- mature NAC, flow-based architecture, cost-effective pricing and a customer-first attitude -- while ensuring that their network, security and support provider will be around for the long haul," said Chris Crowell, Enterasys executive vice president and general manager. "We have seen enterprise investment in our NAC solution triple year-over-year recently, and we'd like the opportunity to demonstrate the reasons why to ConSentry customers, who may be wondering about the future of their current solution."

Enterprises that have chosen ConSentry products in the past will appreciate the value of Enterasys network access control (NAC) solutions and their underlying flow-based switching architecture. Enterasys enterprise LAN products have been noted by analysts and customers alike for securely delivering granular visibility and policy-based control. The Enterasys NAC Controller is an inline switch that can be integrated into any network from any vendor. It can be deployed without reconfiguring the network edge infrastructure to provide unified access control for wired LAN, wireless LAN and VPN users. The Enterasys NAC Controller includes guest access control and administration sponsorship at no extra charge. Enterasys complements the NAC Controller with the Enterasys NAC Gateway, an out-of-band appliance that gives users the flexibility to support alternative deployment needs through a common, efficient management interface.
