Entergy Begins Assessment of Flooded Sabine Power Station, an Industrial Info News Alert

SUGAR LAND, TX--(Marketwire - September 17, 2008) - Researched by Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas) -- Officials of Entergy Corporation (NYSE:ETR) (New Orleans, Louisiana) said that they can now begin an initial survey of the Sabine Power Station in Bridge City, Texas, as the four feet of flood waters begin to recede. After the initial walkthrough to assess the plant's general condition, a formal assessment was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 16. The company is awaiting reports from electrical and mechanical engineers before it can take a course of action.
