Enterprise Rent-A-Car Weekend Special Starting From $9.99 per Day

Leaves Fall and So Do Prices for Weekend Getaways

Enterprise's Affordable, Accessible and Flexible Service Continues to Lead Home-City Market, With Local Car Rental Revenues Currently Experiencing Double-Digit Growth

ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwire - Sep 7, 2011) - Enterprise Rent-A-Car, North America's largest rental car brand, is offering a special weekend discount rate starting from $9.99 per day.

Enterprise renters can enjoy weekend rates of $9.99 per day on economy and compact cars when renting Friday through Monday at most Enterprise neighborhood locations in the U.S. The rate includes 100 free miles a day. Similar savings are available on larger vehicles, and unlimited mileage packages also are available at most locations. The program, which excludes airport locations, runs through May 23, 2012, at participating neighborhood locations.

"Our extensive network of neighborhood branches is unique in the car rental industry," explains Steve Short, vice president at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. "So when fall festivals, football games and colorful foliage start to appear, Enterprise is ideally positioned to help travelers make the most of their autumn weekends. We will pick you up at home, take you to your rental car and get you on your way quickly, at a great weekend rate."

Founded in 1957, Enterprise has always focused on community transportation needs, renting cars where customers live and work. Today, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car network -- with 5,500 branch offices located within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population -- is renowned for offering affordable, accessible and flexible local car rental service in towns and cities of all sizes. Furthermore, Enterprise continues to lead the home-city market, with local car rental revenues currently experiencing double-digit growth.

In addition to weekend getaways, Enterprise Rent-A-Car provides sustainable year-round transportation options for consumers. For example, many simply cannot afford to purchase or maintain a vehicle on their own. As a result, they often depend on the Enterprise fleet of "virtual cars"® while taking advantage of the brand's "everyday low price" and popular weekend discounts.

"Our local car rental network already plays an integral role in many communities as they plan and develop their transportation infrastructure," said Lee Broughton, head of corporate sustainability for Enterprise." That means we -- as a business operator and local employer -- not only provide sustainable transportation alternatives at the grassroots level today, but also continue to look for ways to serve thousands of neighborhoods for the long term."

About Enterprise Rent-A-Car
Founded in 1957 and known for an extensive network of locations, everyday low rates and outstanding customer service, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is an internationally recognized brand that has been named to BusinessWeek magazine's annual list of "Customer Service Champs" in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Enterprise also has ranked "Highest in Rental Car Customer Satisfaction" among North American airport rentals for the last seven years in a row, according to the 2004-2010 J.D. Power and Associates Rental Car Satisfaction Studies. In addition, Market Metrix, LLC, a leading provider of customer and employee feedback and performance tools for the hospitality industry, has recognized the Enterprise brand as the leader in customer satisfaction in the car rental industry 29 out of 31 times. Further, Enterprise won Budget Travel magazine's 2010 and 2011 Readers' Choice Award as their favorite rental car brand for customer service around the globe.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand offers a wide variety of car leasing, vanpooling, car sharing and hourly rental programs -- and local car rental customers are picked up at no extra cost. Enterprise also has a well-established track record for making "virtual cars"® convenient and affordable for those who prefer to "buy for the need and rent for the exception." As a result, Enterprise Rent-A-Car launched hourly rentals in 2005 and local car-sharing in 2007 as a natural extension of its business rental program and longtime focus on customized service in communities. With WeCar car-sharing technology, Enterprise offers a totally automated, membership-based and environmentally friendly transportation solution -- for an hour, a day, a weekend or longer -- thereby providing businesses, universities and government offices an opportunity to enhance their fleet management operations and sustainability initiatives. In addition, Enterprise Rideshare specializes in providing vanpool and carpool commuter services to individuals and companies.

To further minimize the environmental impact of car rentals, Enterprise not only offers customers the opportunity to offset carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, but also to rent a hybrid vehicle in more than 30 major markets. Enterprise received a 2010 Business Traveler Innovation Award -- sponsored by the National Business Travel Association (NBTA) and The Wall Street Journal -- for its outstanding and original environmental efforts in the travel industry.
