Entertainment and Beauty Icon Susan Lucci to Receive DR Icon Award at 2014 Moxie Awards Gala

Award-Winning Actress Will Be Recognized by the Electronic Retailing Association for Her Achievements in Direct Response Marketing

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Jul 28, 2014) - The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) is delighted to present the DR Icon Award to Susan Lucci at the Moxie Awards Gala on September 18th in Las Vegas.

Lucci is a renowned actress, entertainer, and author. Within the past 10 years, she launched the Susan Lucci Collection of hair care products, fragrances, jewelry, shoes, accessories, and a lingerie line. This head-to-toe collection was a constant sell-out on the Home Shopping Network (HSN). In 2002, Lucci introduced the personal microdermabrasion system Youthful Essence® by Susan Lucci with Guthy-Renker, which has sold over 8 million kits worldwide since its debut. Lucci expanded her expertise with Guthy-Renker by also presenting "Malibu Pilates," the widely popular Pilates chair fitness program.

Lucci is best known for her role as Erica Kane on the ABC television show, "All My Children," for which she has won an Emmy Award for "Best Actress." She currently stars in the Lifetime hit series, "Devious Maids," as the wealthy and effervescent socialite, Genevieve Delatour. In addition, she stars in the worldwide hit prime-time show, "Deadly Affairs," on Investigation Discovery now in its third session. Lucci has also guest-starred in many successful television series and numerous movies for television. She has competed on ABC's prime-time reality show, "Dancing with the Stars," and hosted "Saturday Night Live." In March 2011, Lucci released her New York Times bestselling autobiography, "All My Life," with Harper Collins.
