Entertainment Capital Corporation Announces Launch of Monthly Investor Newsletter With May 2006 Issue

Company Plans Mailing of Premier Issue to Shareholders of Entertainment Capital Corporation and FilmMates Entertainment

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 4, 2006 --Entertainment Capital Corporation, whose focus is to invest in companies engaged in various aspects of the entertainment industry, today announced that the company has launched its monthly investor newsletter with its inaugural May 2006 issue. The newsletter will be mailed to all shareholders of Entertainment Capital Corporation and portfolio investment company FilmMates Entertainment.

Featured in the May newsletter is an article regarding the addition of Richard Glasser, music supervisor for Academy Award® Best Picture winner "Crash," to the Advisory Board of FilmMates Entertainment and producer Iyan M. Bruce as FilmMates' vice president of home entertainment.
