Entertainment Platform Laudville Comes Out of Beta

One-Stop Website, and Soon to Be Mobile App, Includes Amazon, YouTube, iTunes and Hulu

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 6, 2014) - Laudville, an entertainment platform for sharing and discovering movies, TV shows, music and books with friends, today launched its official Website, which is now out of beta and has several new features.

Laudville is a comprehensive social entertainment platform that provides recommendations for entertainment available online. When people wonder what they'll watch, listen to or read, Laudville and its community of consumers-turned-tastemakers have the answer. Laudville eliminates frustration for entertainment-lovers, tired of spending too much time searching for content, seeking recommendations from trusted peers or finding out the item they do want is not available.

The new version of Laudville continues to deliver the recommendations and direct links to accessible content its fans count on, but now also offers new features suggested by community members:

  • Friend-finder -- An updated search function that helps users find friends already using Laudville, as well as entertainment that they love
  • Twitter too -- An activity feed so users can see what's going on in entertainment both inside Laudville and on Twitter
  • Opinion history -- An updated user profile showing what users have bookmarked, lauded and bombed
  • An inviting portal -- A clean, easy-to-use interface

Laudville also recently partnered with leading online content providers, including Amazon, YouTube, iTunes and Hulu to deliver its users access to the immense collections of music, movies, TV shows and books offered by each of these destinations.

"After we announced its open beta in July last year, Laudville has become a trusted destination for entertainment lovers in need of a single place to recommend, discover and share entertainment online," said Phoebe B. Scott, founder and CEO at Laudville. "The new version of the site, makes it easy for people to consume and share digital media across devices. And, before the year is through we plan to launch a mobile app too."
