The Entertainment Technology Center @ USC Blog to Provide Real-Time Updates on the Hottest Entertainment Products at 2011 International CES

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2011) - The Entertainment Technology Center @ USC announced today that its staff of 12 reporters will be providing updates on the newest entertainment and technology products at the 2011 International CES (Consumer Electronic Show) through the ETC@USC CES blog. The 2011 International CES will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 6th through 11th. With a history that spans four decades, The International CES has a track record of connecting consumer electronics innovators, enabling the industry to grow and thrive. THE ETC@USC blog can be accessed by signing up at www.ces.etcenter.org.

"There is a lot of buzz about the new and unique products to be introduced at the 2011 International CES," said David Wertheimer, CEO and executive director of ETC@USC. The blog will maximize the time attendees spend on the show floor and provide those who don't attend with background and insight on the best entertainment products and services exhibited at the show. 

This is the third year in a row that a team of experts related to ETC@USC has roamed the show. The blog will be updated on at least a daily basis. The staff will be covering products and services from several different categories, which include: connected televisions, devices and services; 3D handheld and tablet devices; 3D Mobile Devices; gestural interfaces; cloud-based gaming; apps; and mobile payments. A separate, more comprehensive blog will be created and sent separately to ETC@USC sponsors. The blogging, communication and feedback created by the team underscore the overall goal of ETC@USC to work with Hollywood studios and entertainment technology companies to bring the latest and greatest products to consumers.
