Entourage Metals Updates Exploration Programs at Four Ontario Gold Properties

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 5, 2011) - Entourage Metals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:EMT) (the "Company") is pleased to provide an exploration update for the Company's gold projects in north west Ontario. The Company is actively exploring four properties totaling over 500 square kilometers of prospective land. During 2011, the Company will spend approximately $3.3 million evaluating the Black Raven, Toothpick West, Rous Lake, and Benton Properties which are all optioned 100% to Entourage. Diamond drilling programs are ongoing at Black Raven and Rous Lake while assay results have been received from drilling at Toothpick West.

Black Raven

Drilling is ongoing at the high grade Black Raven gold property with assays pending for four holes completed to-date. This initial program will consist of up to ten diamond drill holes totaling 2,000 meters. Drilling has initially targeted areas which returned high grade gold in rock and soil samples, including the Super G Prospect with assays of 734 g/t and 150 g/t Au from quartz vein outcrops (see NR EMT 2011 NR#10). The Super G Prospect, a shear hosted target within mafic volcanic rocks, has limited surface exposure. Drilling will also target soil anomalies associated with the Beggs Lake Stock.

Results from soil sampling at the Black Raven property, have identified several areas of anomalous gold as well as associated pathfinder elements (principally arsenic, antimony and molybdenum). Assay results from recent soil samples range between detection limit to values as high as 870 ppb Au (0.8 g/t). These anomalies are associated with and are proximal to the Beggs Lake Stock.

Toothpick West

Four core holes were drilled at the Toothpick West Property totaling 3,037 meters. The objective of the drilling was to evaluate mineralization associated within the western extension of the deformation zone that hosts the Hemlo Gold Deposit.

Mineralization at Toothpick West is located near the margins of a porphyritic intrusive. In addition, mineralization was also encountered in the volcanoclastic sequences to the south of this intrusive. This volcanoclastic sequence hosts mineralization which is termed the Main Zone, and is the locality where gold was first discovered in the region during the 1890's. The Main Zone is a geochemically anomalous trend that extends up to 2 km long in strike length, near surface.

Hole TW02-01x, an extension of an earlier cored hole in 2002, was completed to allow a borehole IP/Resistivity survey to profile the stratigraphy of interest at depth and to test the potential of a deeper zone in the mafic volcanics that could be related to the Main Zone seen to the east on the adjacent property. Similar mineralization was encountered in TW02-01x as documented in the Main Zone near surface, but at a vertical depth of 700 meters.

Holes TW11-01, 02, and 03 tested the margins of this porphyritic intrusion. In addition, TW11-03 tested these margins down plunge of near surface known mineralization to a vertical depth of below 600 meters and the Main Zone below 1000 meters.

These assay results within and related to the porphyry display the auriferous nature of this intrusion. The Moose Lake Porphyry which forms the footwall of the Hemlo Gold Deposit (containing over 25 Moz) is an analogous rock type, which displays similar characteristics. The Company is encouraged by the results received to-date from Toothpick West because of the anomalous gold values still encountered along the margins of this intrusive. Further geologic evaluation is underway, incorporating geochemical, structural and lithologic data, to vector towards gold mineralization at depth along the deformation zone. This property is still at an early stage in regards to exploring an ore deposit at depth.

Rous Lake

The Phase 1 diamond drill program is underway at Entourage's Rous Lake gold property. This first phase of drilling will include 2,000 meters targeting geological, geophysical, and geochemical anomalies. The prospect area, located approximately eight kilometers west of the Hemlo Deposit, is underlain by glacial overburden up to 150 meters deep. Entourage has completed Gravimetric and Soil Gas Hydrocarbon (SGH) Surveys over an area of 6 km by 2 km to refine drill targets. These methodologies have been employed successfully at other recent gold discoveries in the Canadian Shield.

Interpretation of the gravity results in conjunction with government airborne magnetics has identified several density contrasts that are interpreted to represent structural breaks permissive for hosting gold mineralization. Along these structural breaks excellent SGH anomalies have been identified. These data coupled with previous work in the area has enabled Entourage to prioritize several drill targets.

Drilling is expected to be completed at Rous Lake during the first quarter of 2012.

Benton Property

A surface exploration program has been completed at the Benton gold property. It consisted of reconnaissance level Gravimetric and Soil Gas Hydrocarbon (SGH) Surveys over an area of 9 km by 5.5 km. The SGH program collected over 4,783 soil samples for analysis. Assays are expected in January 2012.

The applicability of the Soil Gas Hydrocarbon sampling is useful in terrains where thick overburden occurs and where conventional soil geochemistry is ineffectual. This relatively new geochemical method has been shown to accurately identify known mineralization at depth and has contributed to recent gold discoveries.

The 203 square kilometer Benton property optioned 100% to the Company encompasses a portion of the Ridout Deformation Zone, within the Swayze Greenstone Belt, thought to be a western extension of the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break. This Ridout Deformation Zone hosts Trelawney Mining's Cote Lake Gold Deposit (Inferred Resource of 4.2 million oz. Au) and the Jerome Mine (Inferred Resource of 1.1 million oz. Au). Entourage's claims are adjacent and to the west & cover 11 km of this trend.

A comprehensive quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program is in place to monitor precision and accuracy of the assay results. All core samples are submitted with certified reference materials (standards, blanks and duplicates). Samples are analyzed by AGAT Laboratories in Sudbury, Ontario and ALS Minerals in Vancouver, BC. Both AGAT and ALS laboratories are ISO 9001 accredited.
