You have only a few minutes, if not seconds, to find the correct solution to problems encountered on the golf course. With the new Instructacard iGolf2Go iPhone application you now can. Instructacard iGolf2Go is a new and unique iPhone application designed to help all levels of golfers improve their game and reduce their handicap. From driver to putter and everything in between, iGolf2Go is the first and only complete and proven downloadable solution to better golf.

iGolf2Go was developed by mVenture, specialists in business mobile phone development based in Norwich Norfolk England

Created by four PGA golf professionals, iGolf2Go is specifically designed for use on the golf course and fully conforms to R&A rules for use during play. iGolf2Go is also ideal for use at the driving range.

iGolf2Go is a simple and concise quick reference guide that started life in 2007 as a pocket sized golf book called Instructacard Pocket Golf Professional. The book, available at and bookstores was an instant success selling over 25,000 books in the UK alone.

Due to the recent increase in the availability of Golf Applications for the iPhone, such as course GPS positioning, Instructacard managing Director Chris Keaney, from Cambridge in the UK, realised the potential benefits to golfers worldwide of launching the original book as an iPhone application.

"We wanted to allow golfers to be able to fix problem shots on the golf course, so we created the pocket sized book that was waterproof and tearproof. However, we noticed an increasing number of iPhone users on the golf course and so decided to bring the two together. Now golfers can simply click a button and receive advice on how to improve a specific shot or their whole game."

"After the success of the Instructacard Pocket Golf Professional book, we realised that by developing an iPhone application we could test the US market via iTunes. Therefore this reduced entry cost would establish how successful the book would be overseas."

The "iGolf2Go" iPhone application utilizes the iPhone's incredible technology, which includes the Multi-Touch interface and exceptional graphics to bring to life the user-friendly "Pocket Golf Professional,". At the touch of a button, golfers can select either the shot they wish to improve or, using the unique common ball flights diagram, they can select a particular ball flight. The application then displays either common faults associated with a specific ball flight or shot and/or a fix diagram that shows users how to correctly play the shot.

iGolf2Go displays fault and fix diagrams for all major shots including the pull, hook, pull hook, push, slice, and the push slice. It also includes guides on how to play the straight, fade and draw. Each shot is displayed using clear illustrations and simple bullet points along with illustrations on the correct grip, club face position and swing path.

Unlike the book, iGolf2Go also includes the basic rules of golf so that players will be in no doubt when it comes to competing...a quick touch of the screen and no more arguing on the course.

The iGolf2Go application is available from the iTunes store and retails at Pounds Sterling 5.99 / $9.99. It is under 10MB in size so can be downloaded straight to an iPhone or iTouch or iTunes It is stored on the device so no internet connection is required to view the application once downloaded.

Managing Director Chris Keaney has also announced that Instructacard are delighted to have signed a licensing agreement with Kristian Traylor, President of Sanvean, LLC to market, sell, and distribute a hard copy version of the product in the autumn of 2009 in select retail stores and the web in the United States and Canada.
