SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - March 9, 2010) - Ewire -- Ralf Lattouf, Managing Director of ENVIRON-ARQUIPÉLAGO, the Brazilian operations of ENVIRON Holdings, Inc., is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais State, positioning us effectively to serve clients with operations in this important center for the global mining industry. Adrian Boller has joined the firm to manage the firm's operations in this new region. Rodrigo Coelho has joined the firm as a Manager in the São Paulo office.
Adrian Boller has more than 15 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a particular emphasis in soil and groundwater investigation and remediation, ASTM RBCA toxicological risk assessment, and environmental audits. He has served as Project Manager for over 500 environmental site assessments, human health risk evaluations, and site remediation programs addressing petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents and metals contamination. Adrian holds a BS in Biology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and a certification in Business Environmental Management from IETEC.
Rodrigo Coelho joins the firm as a Project Manager in our São Paulo, SP office. He brings to the firm 20 years of extensive experience in environmental site assessment and remediation for Brazilian and multinational financial institutions and corporations across a broad spectrum of industries. Rodrigo has particular expertise in hydrogeology, contaminant transport, groundwater modeling and natural attenuation processes. His in-depth experience in various remediation techniques, such as hydraulic barriers, pump-and-treat systems, biostimulation, chemical oxidation and natural attenuation, positions him to work closely with clients and engineering teams to identify and implement the most effective remedies to meet client needs. Rodrigo holds a BS in Geology and an MSc degree in Hydrogeology, both from the Geosciences Institute of Universidade de São Paulo in São Paulo, Brazil.
