Environment Canada/Media Advisory: Major Milestone in Clean Up of Thunder Bay Harbour

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 19, 2005) - Media representatives are advised that MP Joe Comuzzi, on behalf of the Honourable Stephane Dion, Minister of the Environment, will join MPP Michael Gravelle, on behalf of the Honourable Laurel Broten, Ontario Environment Minister; and industry representatives to celebrate the completion of a $20 million cleanup of contaminated sediment around the Northern Wood Preservers' site in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on September 20, 2005.
