Environmental Control Corporation Corporate Update

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 25, 2007 -- Environmental Control Corporation ("EVCC") (OTCBB: EVCCE) would like to notify its shareholders of the recent delay in filing its 10 QSB quarterly report for the period ending March 31, 2007.

Due to the complexity of the accounting requirements associated with the closing of the asset acquisition agreement that occurred between Environmental Control Corporation and its private affiliate, Environmental Control Corporation was unable to meet the quarterly filing requirements due to timing constraints. Subsequently, EVCC's NASD OTC BB trading symbol has been temporarily changed from EVCC to EVCCE. Please note that this only temporary, and the trading symbol will revert back to EVCC upon filing of the 10 QSB quarterly report. Management at EVCC would like to apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Asset Acquisition Transaction

The asset acquisition agreement, completed in March 2007, officially transferred the patented catalytic muffler technology from EVCC's private affiliate to the public company's possession. The closing of this transaction provided EVCC with full legal rights over this technology and solidifies the protection EVCC's technology enjoys by virtue of its three issued North American patents (US Combined Catalytic Muffler #6,622,482; US Reverse Flow Catalytic Muffler #7,018,590; Canada Combined Catalytic Muffler #2448, 742) as well as its two patents pending; one in Canada (Reverse Flow Catalytic Muffler #2,448,648) and one in Europe (Reverse Flow Catalytic Muffler #2742591.7).
