EODT Appoints Philip Hamilton to Director of Business Development for Critical Mission Support

LENOIR CITY, TN--(Marketwire - July 15, 2010) -  EOD Technology, Inc. (EODT) announces the appointment of Mr. Philip E. Hamilton, former executive with G4S Nuclear Security Services Corporation (NSSC), as Director of Business Development for the company's Critical Mission Support business unit. In this capacity, Mr. Hamilton will be responsible for all facets of business development, including strategic business unit planning, client and partner relationship building, and capture/proposal development. 

Mr. Hamilton has extensive knowledge of global security threats, standards, and security systems integration, attributable to his experience as a high ranking military official and top-level industry executive. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for G4S NSSC, where he led the firm in expanding its operations and achieving higher growth revenues and profitability. Prior to this, Mr. Hamilton worked for Raytheon Network Centric Systems as Director of Homeland Security and Director of Middle East Security Programs. In this capacity, he was integral in providing Middle East security situational insights to state leaders and monarchs and developing security infrastructure concepts supporting U.S. security policy within the Middle East.

In addition to his corporate experience, Mr. Hamilton served 25 years in the U.S. Army and retired at the rank of Colonel. During his military career, he served as the first Program Manager of Special Operations Research & Development and later served as Senior Military Assistant to two Presidential Political Appointees on the staff of the Secretary of Defense and U.S. Army at The Pentagon. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Florida Atlantic University, his Master in Human Resource Management at Pepperdine University, is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College, and earned numerous military awards and decorations.
