EP Global Communications, Inc. Returns as Partner of World Congress & Exposition on Disabilities

JOHNSTOWN, PA--(Marketwire - February 19, 2009) - EP Global Communications, Inc. (the Company) (OTCBB: EPGL), the parent company of Exceptional Parent (EP) magazine, is pleased to announce today that it is once again a partner of the World Congress & Exposition on Disabilities (WCD). After a hiatus of four years, the Company, which is one of the original founders of the WCD, will join with WCD management in developing and producing the event, set to take place in November in Jacksonville, Florida. The conference portion of the event will take place from November 17-20 with the Exhibit Hall open November 19-20.

The addition of EP and its full suite of capabilities will allow WCD management to focus more closely on the logistics of the Trade Show, pay more attention to the needs of exhibitors, and address concerns that have been expressed to them over the past year. EP, in turn, will concentrate on what it has done with excellence for so many years -- promote the mission, goals, and objectives of the WCD while developing and implementing the finest educational curricula possible for families, physicians, allied healthcare professionals, teachers, and caregivers. The mission of the WCD has always been to provide a forum for the sharing of information and ideas among all those, professionals and consumers alike, who are involved in the care and development of people with disabilities and special needs. Every educational program will be designed to address that charge.

Additionally, there will be some significant changes to the WCD in November 2009. For the first time in its history, the WCD will be offered during the week and not on a weekend. And, there will be the opportunity for those in remote parts of the country and world who cannot physically attend the event in Jacksonville, Florida to access selected educational programs using the Vemics Live Access System, delivered right into their homes or offices. EP and its partner Vemics have been offering online, accredited educational programs using this technology for the past three years, including many which were developed for unique challenges faced by military families.

The WCD will offer Category I Continuing Medical Education Credit (CME) for physicians and Continuing Education Units (CEU) for nurses, allied healthcare professionals -- inclusive of physical and occupational therapists -- and educators. And key educational curricula will be stored electronically for future access and downloading.

There will be athletic events and demonstrations of new innovative technology including advances in augmentative communication.

Exhibitors and attendees can expect greater value for their investment at the 2009 WCD. All exhibitors will be offered the opportunity to participate in bundled discount packages involving not only their investment in exhibit space at the WCD, but advertising space in a national print publication like Exceptional Parent. There will be opportunities to participate in online, interactive programming either as a sponsor or just to piggyback on the expanded reach this unique technology offers.

Finally, the WCD will expand its partnership with the U.S. Military. EP has done significant work with the military over the years and most recently delivered a multiplicity of programs to the U.S. Army under a two-year agreement entitled the "Exceptional Family Transitional Training Program" ("EFTT") with the U.S. Army Materials and Research Command. It is expected that the Exceptional Family Member Programs for each of the branches of the service and for the U.S. Coast Guard will be participating with the WCD in November 2009. EFMP is a mandatory enrollment program for active duty personnel who have family members with disabilities and special needs. And, WCD will once again have as an integral part of their planning team the Military Child Education Coalition headed by Dr. Mary Keller to ensure that the programs developed meet the needs of military families.
