EPIC Forms Alliance With Highland Industries and Introduces the Somnus Spacer Fabric

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Nov 7, 2011) - EPIC Corporation (PINKSHEETS: EPOR) (the "Company"), announced that it formed an alliance with Highland Industries, Inc., for the development of the Somnus Spacer Fabric, and that Highland has commenced the first production run.

The predecessor to the fabric was originally designed and used in bone setting. The fabric has convex channels separated by concave channels, both channels run down the length of the fabric. The convex channel is firm and can rest directly on the body surface and the concave channel does not touch the body's surface, thus reducing the number of pressure points, which in turn allows for better circulation and ventilation. The fabric can be used to make many diverse products. Initially, the fabric will be used to produce the Somnus Sleep Pad, and later other related products. Sales of the single and king size pads will commence in January 2012.
