Epicor Announces the Newest Release of Epicor Eagle

New Functionality and Enhancements to Boost Business Performance for Independent Retailers

NASHVILLE, TN--(Marketwired - May 14, 2013) - EPICOR INSIGHTS 2013 - Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail, and services organizations, today announced the newest version of Epicor Eagle business management software that enables small to medium sized businesses to better understand, manage and improve their customers' experience, increase competitiveness and improve bottom-line performance. Epicor customers can see live demos of the newest release this week in the Solutions Pavilion during Epicor Insights global customer conference.

Epicor Eagle software empowers small to midsize retailers with the tools required to optimize their business and better manage day-to-day operations. Also, to be previewed during Insights 2013 is the new release of Eagle Loyalty and Eagle Tablet POS -- both of which will be available later this quarter. Eagle Tablet POS, provides full checkout capability to non-lane personnel, which in return enhances the productivity of employees. This solution allows employees to capture a sale when and where the customer is ready.

Other enhancements available in the newest version of Eagle include:

  • Signature Capture: set up to require customer signature when a specified item is added at POS
  • Special Order Alerts: set up alerts to warn staff of an item that hasn't been received
  • Importing item lists: capture a list of items using Mobile Inventory
  • Recurring Suggested Order Report: discount rate policy and backorder rules will be automatically updated when report runs
  • Sales History Summary Viewer: analyze historical sales, weigh what-if scenarios and export key sales transactions
