Epicor Invites Retailers to Help Raise Funds for the Retail Orphan Initiative and Take Home a build-a-bear smallfrys™ Stuffed Animal

NRF Show Attendees Invited to Do a 'Beary' Good Deed to Benefit a Very Good Cause

DUBLIN, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 9, 2013) - Normally you wouldn't expect to see bears, bunnies and sock monkeys roaming the New York City area, but that will all change in a few days when the retail elite meet at the annual NRF show at the Jacob Javits Center, January 13-15.

Epicor Software Corporation, a global leader in business software solutions for manufacturing, distribution, retail and services organizations, will be giving away build-a-bear smallfrys to benefit the Retail Orphan Initiative (RetailROI). The Build-A-Bear Workshop® stuffed animals will be looking for new loving homes at the Epicor booth (#1805) during the annual NRF show, in exchange for a $10 donation to RetailROI.

RetailROI works to raise awareness and provide real solutions for the more than 400 million vulnerable children worldwide. Funds raised at the Epicor booth will support the organization's many initiatives to supply grants to charities that provide hands-on efforts in areas ranging from orphan and foster care to adoption support and child rescue from human trafficking.

RetailROI is a charitable foundation under the umbrella of the Giving Back Fund, which was established to help the 400 million orphaned and vulnerable children worldwide. It works to fund and bring awareness to the enormous needs of the orphans worldwide, to encourage other companies (retailers, vendors, manufacturers) to create internal programs to support mentoring, adoptions and foster parenting and to create avenues for volunteers to get involved. In addition, RetailROI seeks to provide opportunities to leverage their core strengths and abilities to help other charities in need in their local communities.
