ePlus Technology Achieves Cisco Gold Recertification in the United States

HERNDON, VA--(Marketwire - May 7, 2008) - ePlus inc. (PINKSHEETS: PLUS) today announced that ePlus Technology inc., a wholly owned subsidiary, has again met all requirements for achieving Cisco Gold Certification, including personnel, support, specialization, and customer satisfaction. The company has continued to demonstrate that it is qualified to sell, install, and support Cisco solutions in the United States.

"We're pleased to be recognized by Cisco with our fifth consecutive recertification as a Cisco Gold Certified Partner," said Jerry McIntosh, Cisco National Practice Manager at ePlus. "With our consistent focus and commitment on maintaining the highest Cisco certifications, including our recent achievement of Cisco Master Specializations in both Unified Communications and Security, ePlus can continue to deliver sophisticated Cisco solutions to our customers -- enabling them to improve enterprise security, performance, and collaboration."

The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with the training required to build sales, technical and Cisco Lifecycle Services skills, and then validates their skills through a third-party audit. Cisco resale partner certifications -- Gold, Silver, Premier and Select -- represent an increasing breadth of skills across key technologies and a partner's ability to deliver integrated networking solutions. Cisco resale partner specializations -- Master, Advanced and Express -- reflect an increasing depth of sales, technical and service expertise in particular technologies.

As a Cisco Gold Certified Partner ePlus Technology has met the requirements for attaining the broadest range of expertise across multiple technologies by achieving the four following Cisco advanced specializations: Unified Communications, Routing and Switching, Security, and Wireless LAN. In addition, ePlus Technology has integrated Cisco Lifecycle Services into their offerings and is required to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Cisco Gold Certification provides ePlus Technology access to comprehensive sales, technical, and lifecycle services training and support available from Cisco.

ePlus has a close working relationship with Cisco, allowing the company to provide totally integrated Cisco solutions. In addition to Cisco Master Specializations in both Security and Unified Communications and the advanced specializations listed above, ePlus holds Cisco Advanced Technology Provider (ATP) status in both Network Hosted Storage and Rich Media Communications. ePlus was recently awarded the 2008 Partner Summit Award for Outstanding Advanced Technology Performance, which includes recognition of its high customer satisfaction ratings.
